Accelerator
We scout for and partner with start-ups and scale-ups to accelerate the testing and implementation of new solutions to current business challenges.
Technology challengers
We want to work with the very best start-ups and scale-ups globally and look for innovators pushing the boundaries of science and technology.
Scalable solutions
We seek solutions ready to test under operational conditions so that they can be implemented at scale following a successful proof of value.
Close collaboration
We assess the potential of new solutions through a structured 12-week proof of value. We work closely with start-ups to co-design and deliver it, and request access to the solution for testing.
Open to investment
We do not require equity in exchange for participating in the accelerator. If a start-up offers a product or service within our investment themes, we may ask for an option to participate in a future investment round, alongside other investors.
How the accelerator works
We scout for innovative solutions for defined business challenges and help our airlines and group companies screen the best ones for their needs.
Once a start-up is selected onto the programme, we begin with in-depth planning to align objectives, scope, milestones and success criteria.
Supported by a senior executive, start-ups meet weekly with their project team to deliver the proof of value. At the end of the 12 weeks, we assess the results together and if successful, discuss opportunities for full implementation.

How can we help?
If you are contemplating whether to apply to our accelerator programme, rest assured that we are actively gearing up for the launch of our 2024 programme in the upcoming spring season. While we are not currently accepting applications at this moment, we highly encourage you to stay tuned for our upcoming updates and announcements.
We work closely with our airlines and operating companies to understand their requirements, scout for leading solutions and help them screen for the best fit. Our decision will be based on a number of factors such as fit with our business requirements, solution maturity, ability to implement and scale across our group and future commercial terms.
The accelerator is designed to support the testing and implementation of new technologies and solutions that have the potential to solve key business challenges; as such, we don’t have hard criteria for what we consider a start-up or scale-up. In the past, we have worked with companies from pre-seed to post Series D, but most are between Seed and Series B.
